Unhappy Brum29 and the Yorks meet.

I have been asked by Brian Actros to inform you that Brum29 alias Keith"Pete"Bird has been rushed to hospital from the Yorks meet with a suspected heart attack.
The meet attendees as I am sure you will understand are all pretty shocked and upset by this event. I am too.

I'm sure you will all join me in wishing Keith all the very best and hope for a speedy recovery.

Any of the lads that are in touch with his family or friends, please keep us up to speed on his progress.

What a pair of stars they were too. Both should be commended by the members of the club. I will leave it at that, names unpublished unless they wish so.

Sorry to have to break this, but Keff didn't make it. He died at the Hospital.

I spoke his his wife at the hospital and she told me.

She asked that I say that the club made him laugh & smile & we made his last day enjoyable.

I told her to use the forum & we will help as much as we can.

I'm gutted.

RIP Keff.

Default The saddest of news

It will take some time for me to get my thoughts together. Suffice to say we certainly have enjoyed Keiths company on the forum over the last little while. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends, I hope we are included in his list of friends.

Default i'm Pete's (Brum29) daughter Debbie.

Hi,

this is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but it is with great sadness that I have to tell you my dad passed away this afternoon at Rotherham District & General Hospital.

I understand there was a nurse and ex-paramedic who tried to help my dad and we are very very grateful for their help.

James (my son) tells me that dad was having the best day ever at the car meet and he'd not seen his grandad so happy as he was today. For that I'm thankful that he was so happy.

Mom said Dad got to meet his friends from here, I know of Dave and Lee as he often used to sit here laughing at some of your posts. And I think there is someone called Raggerty too. Sorry I don't know all of your names.

I'd also like to thank someone called Rob who called and spoke to mom, it was much appreciated. We can't wait to see the photos you took today.

I am very very sorry to be passing on such sadness but I know dad would want me to let you all know. He loved using this website and you people made the last few months of his life extremely happy and it was lovely to see him sat here laughing at some of the things. And I'm sure you all groaned at some of his jokes!

I don't know if I'm allowed by the moderators to put my e-mail address on here so for the time being I will log onto this if anyone wishes to contact me or my family regarding dad, aka Brum29.

Thank you for the kind thoughts and messages that you have all written.

Much love and appreciation,
Debbie.
