Malta brings back memories, operating from the Royal Naval Patrol Headquarters and making one or two arrest in strait street, known as the gut. mind you there were no 75's there then and Don Mintof was prime minister. I know I know I'm old.

Me and the wife are off to malta next month, we have been 6-7 times and love it. I first went when I was a kid (12 or so)and remember the old buses and the cars being in a right state, things have got better these days but the locals still love the Brits and the island is full of history (war etc) its not just for old farts as most of my mates say (I'm 29 and the wife is 28 and given a choice we would go every year if we could and if I had money for a holiday home it would be there !

I'm off to Malta this week to go to the Valletta Grand Prix. It's a 4 day event. Hill climb, concours in M'dina Cathederal Square & two days of racing on local roads around M'dina. Lots of classic cars of all makes. last year thre were 8 Bugatti 35's racing.Well worth a visit.
