Which Door Mirrors?
Can anyone tell me whether this is a bullet type mirror or not?
As you can see it's had a hefty whack from a shopping trolley (or another car) so I'm thinking of buying some powerfolds or, failing that, some new covers. |

That's the bullet type. I've got power fold mirrors on my 75 they are very useful, it's tight under my car port and it also helps prevent car park scuffs such as you've suffered at the hands of some careless clot. John

Thanks Mike and John. Is the bullet type the more recent one?
How much extra clearance do you get with the powerfolds John? Pondweed: I tried the £4.99 eBay seller and he does have Zircon Silver. He doesn't seem to have any for the passenger side though - they're all driver's side. |

The bullet mirrors are the originals, not later.

Ok Mike - thanks again. I still can't figure out which type the eBay chap that Pondweed mentioned is selling. Here's one of his auctions:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rover-75-MG-ZT...QQcmdZViewItem I just noticed I've been promoted to Regular Poster. I'll have to add a stripe to my uniform !! |
