500 MG6's sold in one day!

June 9, the international professional car rental group Avis Europe (AVIS EUROPE) and MG UK Motor signed a global strategic partnership agreement and ordered 500 units in one fell swoop MG6. Avis Europe's chief executive, Mr. Pascal Bazin said in his speech, "MG6 is a real 'European standard, British design' model."

Well put it this way I sell ex Avis £31000 BMW 320d m sports 6 month old for £21000....

if its the norm with car rental companies.....

they will pay way under normal trade for a big batch.

then put mileage limitations on the rental for a short while.

And after 6 mths to a year they will flog them all off as nice low mileage cars for more than they paid originally .. nice profit all round !!!

MG haven't had 500 MG6's registered yet accoriding to SMMT figures!

Sales are down on last year

. Mind you does anyone bar the enthusiasts know about the MG6? Hardly seen much tv advertising etc
