![]() Hi;I have a 2004 Mg zt 1.8t 160+,a couple of weeks ago the airbag warning light suddenly came on and now comes on intermittantly,I was told to check under the two front seats for two connectors which may have come loose, one had and it seemed to have solved the problem until last friday when the light has come back on and stayed on,I have fiddled with the switches but to no avail, although one is still loose and flaps about some, does anyone know if this is an easy fix or does it mean a trip to the doctors,by the way,one switch's side clip is broken so maybe it may need relacing.Any answers of help would be gratefully appreciated.Big Dave.

![]() This is a common fault with the Airbag lighting up due to the under seat connectors.
Its best to redo the connections or as some do Solder the leads for permanent non problems. This would mean a problem if taking out seats in future though. It is generally caused by adjusting the Front seats forward/backward which loosens the connectors. |

![]() No effect on MOT as that light is not included or a requirement strangely,
but it does mean that none of your Airbags are working whilst lit. By the way ![]() |
