You need to check the two letter code on the aluminium block on your unit, it will say something like ‘MK’ or similar.

Let us know which unit you have.

My car is a 2000, 2.0 V6 automatic transmission Crowley construction, concession equipment. Traction control and cruise control features.

I'm removing the ABS unit from its place it never. Speedometer doesn't work, Fuel Gauge does not work. I replaced the ABS sensors.

If you haven't already done so: and before spending lots of money on the rare traction control ABS modulators try diagnosing the car with specialist equipment. There's a freeware programme called Toaf that can read all modules on your car including the ABS sensors. Use the search bar above for more "TOAF" information. Think your fuel gauge is probably a different problem.

Regards

I have tried few software to connect with OBD, the connection to the ABS unit failed.
In the meantime, "TOAF" thanks a lot for

Updated the question I asked in the first place. Rover 75 petrol models the ABS unit is the same?
1.8 I have a chance to access to the ABS unit.

Even though the abs sensors have been replaced, do not assume them.to be working or fitted correctly.

A proper decent garage should be able to check each wheel.with a multi meter.

At this stage it is important to diagnose the problem. Rust at the hubs could cause the issue. Damage during removal.of a.fauled sensor too, could cause an issue to remain.

Speedometer not working normally suggests the drivers side wheel sensor being at fault, however fitting parts without proper diagnosis will be expensive.

There is a post describing how to check the sensors using a meter. Use the search facility above (or perhaps someone can point you in its direction)

Are all of the tyres the same profile?

HERE is a search

and a How To HERE

Cracked ABS rings can also cause problems. The usual give away with this is the light will go out when you start the car but when you move off the light comes on. I had a Saab a few years that did this, the crack was tiny and barely visible.

As has been said don't presume new sensors are OK, I have seen several new ones that are faulty and it does not seem to matter the make or the price. I have even had a genuine Ford sensor fail out of the box, the dealer did not even question it and just gave me another so I presume it is a common occurrence.

If you do end up replacing the controller don't presume if it looks the same and the plug is the same it is the same, every letter and number MUST be correct.
