In search of a Typhoon 260 ZT
Good morning all
I've returned after years away from 75/ZT ownership. I've owned a few but the one I've always wanted is a 260, in Typhoon. There's only 12 I believe so I know it's very unlikely I'll find one for sale however if you don't try you won't succeed! One was available but unfortunately a deposit was taken on it last week so I missed it by the skin of my teeth. So, has anyone got a typhoon 260 they're considering selling at any point in the foreseeable future, or know of someone who owns one? Even if you aren't considering selling it, I'd love to learn how many are members here and over at two sixties. I'll post this over there aswell to broaden the search. Cheers |

I assume the one you were talking about being sold is it this one?
https://william-thompson.com/current-stock/ If not the advert appears to show as current stock. Good luck with your search. |

Good luck, especially searching for such a specific colour! It took me months to find a 260, lost count of the number of "dead" adverts I responded to . . . . if its sold take the bleedin' advert down I phoned one advert and was hit by the heaviest Irish accent I've ever encountered, didn't have a clue what the guy was saying, could have been offering me the car free and I wouldn't have known Turned out that, unsurprisingly, it was in Ireland. Finally found one in deepest Yorkshire, when the guy responded that it was still available it took me by surprise!

I'm glad your search was fortuitous eventually. I am half considering just looking for one I'm happy with, and painting it - but I know monogram colours are expensive and difficult to spray properly. We shall see! |

There's a trophy blue one in Leeds for sale, it's a 3 hour drive from me but potentially worth the time! |

This still seems to be listed on Classic cars site, along with another in Typhoon. https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1622517 |
