I live about 10 miles from Nocton and thought the Hall was still a functioning Residential Home!

Don't think I'd fancy living there then!
Having said that, in that way it's a bit like the site of the old Rauceby Hospital. Most of it has gone now, and there's a brand new housing estate (well, a new village really) surrounding it. So you have nice new houses looking out over a hulking ruin of a place, and it's likely to stay this way for years, as the plans to convert it seem to be put on hold, but it doesn't get demolished either (possibly listed?). There's very posh houses literally yards from it.... And of course, just down the road in Sleaford we have Bass Maltings. These have been ripe for regeneration for decades, but any new plans seem to just sit there, and in the meantime, the place gets more and more decayed. One day it'll just fall down, so surely better to convert it into houses/apartments/shops or the like while they still can?

RAF Hospital - Nocton Hall
Next door to the hall at Nocton lies a disused RAF hospital, this place is huge (Have a look on google maps)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Hospital_Nocton_Hall We didn't have much time here and only saw about half of the place.
