key fob baffeld
my spare key opens and closes the car using the fob buttons but even though the key turns it will not start the car i have replaced the batteries with new ones which i have checked so i know that they are good ones but it still will not start the car any ideas anyone

Beat me to it! Your transponder - the item circled in red is either missing or loose in the key back.

yes it still has the transponder fitted will check if it lose i have spare keys will another transponder work

I'm prepared to wager the transponder doesn't actually belong to the car, or it has been spiked during a cranking session when the car battery has been discharged.
It isn't a problem however simply contact any of the members offering the replacement key service and have a replacement transponder programmed to the car's immobiliser Brian |

I'm prepared to wager the transponder doesn't actually belong to the car, or it has been spiked during a cranking session when the car battery has been discharged.
