Is there anyone close to Wolverhampton with a t4 that might be able to help. The garage with my car are totally lost as what to do next.
Things changed are fuel pump, cam and crank sensors, coil pack, even the ecu has been changed and programmed. The chip in the fod has been done and the ignition switch has been changed. There is good fuel pressure. Just no feed to the injectors. I've thrown a fortune to this car and not willing to scrap her.

Derek,
1. We know that your engine won't start. There's no need to keep repeating the symptoms. 2. STOP replacing things. 3. Please read Stocktake's helpful reply carefully: Quote:

Further information has now come to light and your best bet is to ask your local garage to follow Stocktake's advice which is:

I know this is a bit left field but if it twere mine I would make sure the cambelt is ok and check the engine is timed correctly ie it hasn't jumped a tooth. I know it runs on easy start but to put it simply it's not really a precision calibration. Sniff the exhaust to makes sure there is no fuel being administered - are the plugs wet for example. Use a noid lamp on the injector loom to tell you if the injectors are firing. There is more to look at here. Diagnostic codes - are there any errors showing? As said, connect a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve. Is the fuel clean - any water in it - have you run very low on fuel recently. Does the rev counter move on cranking - if not no signal from the crank sensor.
Sorry op but I think your garage has got the "it's an old car" syndrome. |

Thank you for all your suggestions and reply. The car is going to be transported to Terry at TSAutos. Something I should have done in the first place.
Try this that and the other has probably cost me a small fortune. The car is nothing special hence I have two landrovers but the 75 is an old man's car. At the age of 67 I love driving it on weekends. So hopefully get it fixed soon.

Update, car was transported to Terry and TS Autos yesterday. Few hours later had a message car ready for collection. I was shocked it was so quick. Turned out the EWS was off and crank sencor not in correct. Plus a pin in the plug for the map was bent over and crushed. Considering I was desperate and hadn't got a clue what was wrong Terry could have named his price sky high. Did he, no he didn't. The bill was next to nothing. Fantastic guy who I will ask to sort my car again. You have a rover 75 problem Terry is your man.
