Coding is not a big issue all that happens is the GM SA and VN codes common to your car are uploaded to the replacement ECU so for example it knows if you have traction control or not, 15 minutes work and 30 minutes labour charge on T4 max
But if you just replace the ECU and not the valve / pump assembly you won't need to bleed anything.
