She said it was bad traffic most of the way, motorway clogging up and slowing, then clearing and back to normal speed before slowing again etc. When she got to her friends the dash was still showing 23 miles. And very similar on the return journey. By that it gives a range of 168 miles.

That's good going, What are you averaging for miles/kWh? I'm averaging over 4miles/kWh regular & as much as 4.8 miles/kWh on a urban run, Last trip was 4.2miles/kWh.
