Default A lost friend.

I go to the funeral of my old friend Albert next week, for many years he was the owner of a 75 Tourer Diesel which he loved, he wasn't a member here but he looked in as a guest many times. In recent years his health failed him and he had to give up his Rover, in his younger years he worked in the music and club scene, he worked with most of the top bands of the 70's and 80's and had a real thirst for knowledge. His passing is quite sad for all that knew him, a real and kind gentleman that loved to laugh, he always wanted me to make him laugh without tip toeing around his health, when he told me he was going to need an oxygen cylinder to be able to visit, I told him he'd look like Buzz Lightyear, he laughed long and hard at the irreverence and was glad that I wouldn't mollycoddle him because he was unwell.
I can only describe him as I found him, his love of life couldn't save him but he didn't suffer as he simply faded away in his sleep.
