Help!! bonnet release broke.
I have a problem, with the shorter of the two bonnet release cables, i can't seem to get at it through the wheel arch, the longer one I managed to pull through and released the passenger side bonnet catch, is there any other way to get at it so that I can open the bonnet to replace whatever has failed, or come adrift I tried turning the water bottle neck, to remove it, but it won't budge so I can't easily get behind it to fish the cable out is there anyone else that's had this problem that can give me any advise

Nice to hear you get the bonnet open, what is wrong with the block & connector? Also while you wait i would clean up any grease or dirt around the half moon on the catches. 1 2 This can be done with some brake cleaner, any grease on the half moons will attract dirt and grit which can make it stick. you can also when you have fitted the connector and block adjust the half moons a fraction maybe one thread by turning the 8mm bolts either side of the moons. 3 let us know how you get on.
