Good morning everyone, how is the day looking?
A busy morning, made the tea for the boss, then did the laundry and put it out on the line, 26C, so it should only take a couple of hours to dry. Brushed the pool and gave it a shock treatment as it had started to turn green. Just did the mobile telephone payment for the groceries and will pick them up from the supermarket outside in 30 minutes. I thought I’d get another order in in case the military proceeds to a round-the-clock cerfew. |

Morning Colin, Andy, Bob, Ian & Phil - it's another lovely Spring day here - but a few degrees cooler than the last couple of days.
Although our daughter got us a few bits'n'pieces of food shopping yesterday (at M&S prices - I'll knock that lot off her inheritance!!) we're shortly going to need a wee bit bigger shop. That no doubt is when the will fun start - apparently there was a queue all the way round Sainsbury's, Aldi's, Lidl's & Morrisons' car parks yesterday. What I can't get straight - if people bought tons of grub last weekend - surely they haven't eaten it all yet, so why do they need more so quickly - their freezers must be bursting at the seams

A restful looking photo Jeff of Molly the cat, cleverly done with the light. I wonder what treats Molly had to get her to pose? Top quality photo
Here is a link to something possibly useful. Doctors in New York are treating patients in critical care with high doses of Vitamin C, as Doctors in Wuhan found it reduces the severity of the Covid-19 virus during an attack. Whilst I was out this morning I called into several pharmacies and all were sold out of Vitamin C. I checked the story in The Lancet and it looked authentic. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/nypos...vitamin-c/amp/ |

Evening all, just been out with the doggies, Meg spotted a pheasant which she wanted to chase (good job she was on the lead) then a muntjack deer spotted us and disappeared across the field as they do.
