Same as posted elsewhere CDT Engine is ok for miles but the rest of the car is subject to mileage related wear and tear like any other
Be interesting to know how many sets of tyres, brakes, shocks and suspension bits, clutches, Gearboxes? Mafs, rad fans exhausts, bulbs, drivers seats! mats pedal rubbers, more bulbs! it has had in its life. Some of the ex lease cars on fleabay have the lease company printouts which are very very comprehensive as they include everything from where the fuel was bought to tax disks to car park ding repairs That's the kind of history I want to see for a high miler like that Of course it could have been a Taxi, not sure judging by some I have been in they are maintained at all! |

That's an impressive advert and should be a gleaming example to every potential future seller on eBay. If only they were all like that. I would buy the car on the premis of the quality and detail of the advert alone!
I even like the way the seller says if you are the winning bidder and when you come to collect the car you, for whatever reason, decide not to buy it then he wont hold it against you - not even negative feedback. I want to shake hands with this guy for being so decent. Top bloke. |

Very good listing that, all credit to the seller. R75s especially diesels are making very good money on ebay right now. I got a bit of a bargain on mine, saw it in good old autotrader. I reckon it would have made £700-£1000 more on ebay.

Noticed this myself especially since christmas, A lot better examples out of the trader and you can see them first, exact same thing is happening with diesel omegas as the last of the good ones dry up, people seem desperate to get them at the last minute......BIZARRE:SHOCKED:

I have 81,000 on my auto.
I am slightly concerned about maybe 100,000 for the life span of an auto box. Though I only had the box oil changed 6 months ago (at the last service) I'm tempted to get it changed again at the next one. My 75 had done 75,000 and was left a bit too long for the change, but that was the fault of the previous owner. It was certainly not running too good before the change. Considering not all the oil gets changed, I don't think fresh oil will do any harm. Don't want to be coughing up £1500 for another box

What a shame more Dealers and other sellers don't give that sort of description and no pressure sales, even on pick up. Excellent.
Meanwhile back to thread.......... |
