They come across as dour do the germans but iv'e visited germany many times and they love their beer and after a few they open up .

Many a great night i had in their company and one particular day at OCTOBERFEST i can just about remember

I agree,
Stayed in Germany two years ago when I went to the Belgium Grand Prix.
Stayed just over the border in a town called Aachen and the staff at the hotel were great.
Dad and I went out for a meal in the town plaza by the two cathedrals and ended up having one of the most entertaining nights out we have had in years.
The food and the company were great.
Would go back in a heartbeat.
Still, the YouTube video was funny!!!!!
