He's just had it on the dyno and recorded 156bhp with the mafam off, Tu3 on Setting 3. He's a happy bunny and one the lucky ones who doesn't get a lot of smoke. Ron Don't forget, I always willing to remap a 131 module to 116 spec f.o.c. for any 131 owner but no guarantees as to smoke or bhp.

Well, hi to everyone. This is my first post on the forum, so "be gentle"!
I returned to the UK in September after 3 years living in Madrid, and for the first time in over 20 years of driving, I had to buy a car rather than use a company car (the company I work for changed their car policy whilst I was on secondment!). To cut a long story short, I started looking at what to buy, and decided that I liked the look of the 75 tourer. My commute to the office is a daily total of 60 miles, so a diesel was the best choice, and the BMW engine swung it. I had a bit of spare cash, and realised I could buy a 52-plate CDT tourer for less than 6 grand. So, last Saturday, I picked up my new car: a 75 52-plate CDT Club SE Tourer, with a shade under 50K on the clock. 1 previous owner (lady, disabled), full dealer service history (and I mean FULL - invoices for EVERYTHING!), and negotiated the fit of an 8-stack CD system as well as road tax (the disabled drivers was free tax) and 12 months MOT for the pricely sum of £5795. I am now IN LOVE with this car! As a family man, I am used to just driving a car as a means to get from A to B. (I've had Zafirras, Mondeos, etc). But, this seems different somehow - cann't put my finger on it precisely, but it just feels so right. The BMW engine purrs like a kitten, and the build seems excellent. So, I hope to be a regular on this forum from now, and I'll be flashing away if I see any other 75 / ZT drivers whilst I'm out and about. |
