(yes, I'm after some ideas!!)
Not all this xmas, but on various occasions i have bought for my other half,

Expensive choccys
A good book
Boots(the chemist) vouchers
Shoes/Boots/Accessories (needs planning and listening when the other half warbles on about seeing something that looks lovely in a shop window midway through the year, lots of hassle but you earn a ton of brownie points)
Spa vouchers
Tickets to a show
Hotel reservation for a nice after xmas break.
Flowers
A nintendo DS with Dr Whojamaflicks brain thingy (went down a storm)
An iPod with suitable girly cover to jazz it up and iTunes vouchers so the other half can download girly tunes (also went down a storm)
Her favourite perfume.
Clothes she has picked out.

But i've stayed away from buying unknown(to me) perfumes or underwear(that to me would look good on Kate Moss)

I know, I know. I just can't help it, I like the smell of anesthetic gas and the sound of the X ray machine
