Question Interchangeable parts

I'm looking at buying another member's 2001 2.5 V6 and wondered whether any of the parts that I've recently fitted to / bought for my 2005 1.8T could come in useful.
For example things like the rear blind (still in box), the uprated fan resitor and the air intake tube.
I also wondered whether the headlights were better and if they should be swapped as well as they have nice little washer/wipers attached.

Or is this hybridisation not a good idea?

Work on the 1.8T

New pads &cs all round, Bonnet Catch Reversed, Plenums Cleaned, Renewed Selected Radiator Hoses, New Stainless Steel Twin Exhaust,Metal T-Piece, Head Skimmed and MLS Head Gasket, New Cambelt & Alternator Belt, New PRT & Water Pump, New Air Duct Hose, New Radiator, New plugs, coil packs & HT leads, Golden Radiator Resistor.
Car then blew up and I gave up.
Bought the ZT 190 instead !

Hi

Your car is a facelift, 2001 is a mark 1. The lights will not fit.

The blind will fit.

By air intake, do you mean the shannon tube? If so then no, I believe (i.e. I could be wrong) that the 1.8T is 70mm and the KV6 is 80mm diameter.

Only the 190 has 80mm, the standard V6's use 70mm.

Also there is a very good chance the 2001 model will not be fitted with a fan resistor.
