Good news you have been sorted and by all reports the Samsung tab 2 has a great track record. I am sure you will have lots of fun with it Mark. I had a look at the Asus and a few other tablets this afternoon. I remembered that Jessica has a 3g wifi which she makes use of and as such, she does not have to rely purely on the benefits of running a 3g phablet. Thanks for the info Guru

I decided to take the plunge and picked up a Kindle fire HD 16gb for £119. Mark, I thought that if your mother in law is happy with hers, then Jessica would also be happy too

Just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3,I bought because it was only one of 3 tablets that would take the Sky Go App,and can take it away in the caravan with me as well.

All the others do not.

For ref from the Sky website

Galaxy Tab 2 7
Galaxy Tab 3 7
Nexus 7

All the other tablets do not allow Sky Go

Erm, what exactly are tablets for?

I know what Paracetamol is for, but the rest are a mystery to me?

Ice cream and jelly beans sound good though.
