Default 170mm Components - Fit?

Just been given 2 Kenwood KFC-S703P Speakers and they are 170mm.

I currently have some 5 year old Alpines on MDF mountings which are 165mm so before taking the door apart just seeking confirmation that 170mm is going to fit ok...

Thanks

On the fronts I fitted 165mm Focals and in order to do this on the plastic mount I had to sand down a ridge. By doing this you'd easily get 170mm's to fit onto the mount.
However, how this would work on an mdf mount is dependent upon the mount, if it has no ridge then i'd say you'd be ok, certainly nothing on the door card itself that should foul.

All best opinion I can give as can't be 100% sure i'm afraid.
