Default symphony help

hi all I have a symphony/ lowline nav fitted to my 75 and I will be needing to disconnect my car battery soon and I don't know if its got a security code enabled the only numbers that I can find anywhere on it are these written on the top would this be it by any chance if not is there any way of getting the code thanks

No, definitely--its 4 numbers, look on search for de-activateing code before you remove radio

AFAIK you need the code before you are able to deactivate it.

According to other posts on the subject, Symphony codes where not activated when installed, it was left to the dealer to do if a customer requested it.

I didn't need a code for my Symphony/low line unit.

There is a member here who can supply the code or used to, give XPart02(Stu) a PM.

Make sure you power down the sat nav properly before disconnecting the battery.

Ford used to write the code on top of the Head unit, always found that a bit strange

The number on the Symphony will be the last six digits of the VIN number of the car it was originally fitted to.
