Default Blue screen on radio.

Used the car for a change today and noticed that the DD screen went blue when on the radio. It went back to the radio screen when I tapped the screen or adjusted the volume. It does not do the same when on sat/nav - I Leave it in this mode 99% of the time.

Nothing really wrong with it, but in 2 years of ownership the DD has not done this before. Should I be worried or have I changed a setting.

I have noticed that the last couple of months that the sat-nav seamed to loose the satellite signal quite often for up-to 10 minutes-I may have knocked the ariel when fitting the reversing camera ??

Hi Craig,

Try a hard reset Sir.
Disconnect it from the power and leave it overnight.
Reconnect it and see if the problem has cleared

Could be a Glitch has developed . Let me know Craig , We can try a Firmware relaod if the har dreset Jeff described doesnt work.

Sounds Like an aerial problem , Location also check that the fitting is snug omn the radio. try it out of the car if you are going in there anyway , to be sure its not the aerial . If it is we have them

If it's the older WinCe unit try pressing and holding the mode button for a few seconds as it may be in video 2 input mode.

Thank you for the advise. I do remember something about the mode button. Will check the aerial as it did it 3 times today.
Sean, it is the CE5 unit, am I correct in thinking that there is no firmware update ?

Craig.

Is that the WinCe firmware or have you managed to get the sunplus .bin file off the factory?
