It certainly makes the boot dark.
That is the sub unit only - if you look at each end of the box, there is a speaker for the L and R channels. If you follow the wires from the speakers, they lead to the HK amp.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

It is ONLY needed for the Hi-line. If the actual radio receiver is at the front, the antenna lead also goes to the front. In the case of the Hi-line, the radio receiver is in the wheel well, so has to be extended to the front.

Thanks I will look again tomorrow.
I think I said before, I'm hopeless.

So where is the amplifier?
The only other thing in the boot is the sat nav.
That is indeed the subwoofer, the port is in the middle and the two bass drivers mounted at either end.
The amp is separate to the subwoofer

Blimey, I know even less than I thought.
I am definitely going to need help when fitting new head unit.
By the way, I changed the order to Navall 2,
