I didn't have any phones paired with the head unit as it was newly installed, the one thing I would say is the HTC and the Samsung are paired, will that cause a problem.
As previously indicated the Samsung has paired up.

if they are paired and within connecting range, with the Bluetooth active, then I would suggest yes. mine only seems to connect with one device at all time
