I have the same aerial fitted and I can confirm it is VERY good, however in my case the car already had a front mounted roof aerial, so I used the hole that was there, the aerial works OK but because it is meant to be mounted on the rear of the roof, it seems to stick straight up. Looks a little odd but really works well.

To get a neat hole I bought a Bergman step drill set about £14.00 from the bay of fleas, as the hole had to be enlarged to 18mm.

On the subject of FM aerials, is the aerial amplifier for FM RADIO, mounted on the drivers side or passenger side D pillar? (on a Conny se)

As far as i've seen it is on the passengers side D pillar (far right looking at the rear window, from the drivers seat)
