Hi to everyone. I joined a few months ago after purchasing my first ever rover. A 54 plate 75 Contemporary CDTI auto, in Odyssey Blue. Firstly I would just like to thank the members who have taken the time over the years to create how to guides and also share knowledge to aid owners and potential owners of these vehicles. I bought my car for £2450 with 82000 miles on the clock. Using this site i have cleared the plenum's, changed the PCV filter, air filter, fuel filter, bonnet release mod and fitted an EGR bypass. Just about to get the oil/filter changed. Also had it remapped to 160 bhp which made a massive difference diving experience.
I have to say this car is probably the best car I have ever owned. It drives like new and the amount of kit I have got for the money I paid is incredible. I do a 60 mile round trip for work five days a week, so needed a decent motorway car. The sports leather seats are so comfortable. I suffered a lot with my back while I had my last car, but now hardly any twinges. The body work is great for an eleven year old car and its fitted with 17 inch Serpent alloys. Just bought a set of Star Spoke which need a refurb, but only cost £65(I just like the look). So hopefully get them sorted in a few months.
I think I will be keeping this one for as long as i can, great motor!
