Put 30 quid of diesel in it for SWMBO and that is all I've done to it all weekend

Parked it up and played with a nice car for a change......the newest addition to the fleet a 2004 Rover 45 IXL diesel courtesy of Ray55 .
So, fuel filler pipe removed, carefully derusted, treated and painted, wheelarches cleaned, in fact the entire care cleaned top to bottom inside and out. Tomorrows job will be to remove the fuel tank, and identify and rectify the small leak, I suspect incorrect reassembly following a tank replacement last year. This will be followed with a couple of tyres in short order then new timing belts and auxiliary belt. Once MOT has been done, I can see myself selling one, or perhaps both ZT's as the 45 is much more practical car for my purposes. Brian |

put the interior back into the car, after fixing ( I hope) the small water leak from the passengers sunroof drain...spent all weekend drying out the carpet
And the worse part was connecting the cigarette lighter...what a pain that was |

Yesterday I Replaced the ubp and renewed the pcv filter, in doing so snapped the pipe of the connector elbow on no 4 leak back pipe. Hence a frantic call to Brian

Washed the tourer for the second time since buying it 3 months ago and polished it for the first time. It looks lovely but really needs cutting back and sorting properly.
