Default Mystery Connector

Hello there,

(hi line system radio,cd etc working)

I decided to have a quick look behind my sat nav unit as it is not working (disc goes in and out OK but no power light) and there seems to be a connector block with no where to go. It is joined to the mini silver aerial looking connector that attaches to the back of the unit and is a black connector block.
The other two connectors on the other side of the unit are fine and I couldnt find anything to connect it too There are two connectors fitted to the underside of the cage but still no where for this one.
Any ideas anyone???
Not really too fussed as I plan to put a Navall system in, just interested in the meantime
Thanks

Its the receiver that looks for the satellite signal, on the later units it was built in to the GPS Drive

Thanks for that,

Just read your guide to cleaning the inside of the unit, doesn't seem to be any water damage but worth a try for now

All the best
