Default Hub "covers"

Can anyone tell me if the hubs should all have little brass coloured covers preventing ingress of dirt etc?? When all the wheels where off on R70 I noticed that I have one on one of the wheels and the others have nothing ... A few thousand miles back I had to change the rear nearside bearing and I am not surprised if they are open to the elements like that.

(Perhaps they fell victim when I changed all my wheels en-masse from 15" Comets to 16" Unions a couple of years ago ... i.e they went off but were never put back on ) If they should have these covers perhaps I should source some from one of Les' recycled cars ...

Thanks for any pointers

They didn't fit grease caps to the 75/ZT. The bearings are pre-lubed and sealed for life and can't be greased externally. The seals prevent ingress of water/dirt. That's the theory anyway.

You're right. My mistake. Rears yes, fronts no.
