Actually, as a BMW driver myself.....
It frustrates the hell out of me how many people don't indicate, but not all of us BMW drivers are the same. And it was actually a Citroen driver who decided it was too much like hard work to bother indicating before he ploughed me and my bike into a grass verge.

Steve, I for one get highly frustrated at the lack of driving skills used on the roads today, I get it that many folks drive the German car product properly and glad that you do, but Audi, BMW and Mec drivers seem to be amongst the worst who are so careless and up themselves, again I am not pointing the finger at you, but at these mongrels who simply have a class of their own on THEIR road which they refuse to share with us ! All down to attitudes and behaviours !
Hope you were ok after your incident with your bike, and the fool who took you off it got some stick. |

In Yorkshire I would add two further makes to the list. VW Golfs of the GT or diesel variety driven by one type of person and Range Rovers especially Vogues driven by a totally different type of person, if you know what I mean. All however incapable of leaving a safe gap between the car in front and drive like complete numpties and budding Hamilton's until a corner gets in the way, then if they make the first one drive like grannies until the next straight bit where they can practice their skills at tailgating and overtaking manoeuvres again.
And bikers off for a trip to the lakes are really good at seeing round blind bends and over brows of hills. However strangely enough they do give more room when I'm driving a classic and at slower speeds so there has to be some awareness of what they do. |
