Saloon - Boot lid gas strut
Mine (car) were slow but was able to lift the lid without much effort. So, bought a pair of 'British made' struts but they only lasted a month. Upon examination, the actual lid when fully open it flexed just a little extra but the joints governing seem fine. little or no play. both ends of the struts came apart.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good and tested aftermarket item please. John |

I've used SGS for struts for a number of different vehicles and have found them good quality.

Just like to give full marks to SGS for the replacement of my failed struts. The service I received was first class and for my application, they included a suggested modification. Real customer satisfaction.
