I have never had any problem with odourless kerosene, but I generally burn the lamps on central tables, not near a wall.

It certainly does not smell like burning regular paraffin and has the bonus of not quickly discolouring the inside of glass fonts.

It is not expensive, but I don't burn the lamps often, so I still have the small bottle that I bought was a few years ago, and I do not remember the price.
I picked it up in a local hardware shop.
