Well he did say he'd thought about keeping it for himself when it first came in. Now, whether that was just sales talk, I don't know. But looking at the MOT history, I'd guess it's only done about 100k.

Unfortunately, these get scrapped so often when no longer required and the general public don't seem to see the value in them People will happily go & spend £35k + finances charges on a new 3 Series or A4 Avant, yet throw this on the scrap heap...

I've got everything to fix it in my spare room other than the front struts (which I can source locally) but I just don't have use for another one unfortunately.

If this is the car I looked round the other day, there is a lot more than has been mentioned missing from it now.
It no longer has wheels, headlights, rear leather bench seat has gone, and to cap it all there is another vehicle dumped on top of it.
I think the front bumper had gone as well.

I think this one is past seeing the road again.
