none. on rear wheel drive they may push the wheels in to the ground abit more giving slightly quicker acceleration

Yes I know that - my question was deliberately sarcastic . . . there is NO point in fitting a spoiler to the rear of a front wheel drive car so why do people, and even manufacturers, do it ? In fact it can have the effect of pushing the back of the car down at the expense of lightening the front hence reducing traction - unless of course counter measures are also taken at the front.
