My first post...
Firstly, thank you for allowing me into join your forum.
The main reason that I've joined is to inform members on here of my father passing earlier this year. He was active on here and always spoke highly of his experience on the forum, whenever we worked on his fleet of 75's! I see he managed a few conversations on his time here. His user name was ARK238 and his full name is Roger Stevenson. He was a great man with a fantastic mind, who found his passion for cars settled with the Rover 75. I notice you have a memorium post, and I think he'd like to know his name ended up on there. Feels like a bit of closure my end too, in honouring his main source of hobby and interest in this way. I have my own fabrication business and specialise in products for automotive applications, so I'd like to stay in touch with the forum and hopefully contribute where I can. I also play with Land Rover Freelanders, so I have experience with the K series and M47 drivetrains. He'd be proud of me for joining here to help others and also learn things myself. My dad passed on 16th April 2017 aged 62. Cheers all Luke Last edited by Turbostevo; 3rd August 2017 at 23:30.. |

Hi Luke
I am so sorry to hear your fathers passing I am sure if you get in touch with Reebs the senior moderator and the rest of the team on this forum will make it right, so your father will be on the list of remembrance. The banner should also change to black and white as a mark of respect as is done on this great forum. R.I.P ARK238

I am sorry to hear about your loss Luke and at such a young age. Please keep visiting the forum, as you say it was what your dad would have wanted.

I am sorry about your loss Steve, it does hit us as, with my Dad, he too passed on around that age. He has sown his seed well though, because you have made such an effort to inform and share your loss with this forum.
Odd time for you and your family as there are so many great memories that are brought to mind. |

Very sorry to hear of your loss.
Sounds like your old man really loved his cars and the passion he has for the 75's was out of this world. If there's anything we can do will do what we can too honour your fathers memory on the forums and his passion for car.
