Don't think you are allowed to get too close, not aware of a public viewing area for Wattisham.

We get to see the Apaches fly over us here in Stowmarket nearly everyday. Also get to see F15s from Lakenheath as well as Ospreys from Mildenhall.

Believe Lakenheath has a viewing area.

For those of an military aerial interest the Mach Loop in north Wales is worth a visit. Can be hit and miss with what turns up. Hopefully will get there one day, but its bit of a jaunt from Suffolk. Perhaps I could blag a spare back seat in an F15.

We get quite a few Apaches flying round here and o er the Forest from Middle Wallop.

I wonder where they would be deployed to that requires an An 124?
