Window switch panel - advice needed!
Hi All,
The driver's window switch has broken off on my window switch panel. Basically, one of the little prongs inside the switch itself (they have a sort of 'U' shaped notch that sit around the 'bayonet' type prongs on the main part of the switch panel) has broken, so it won't stay in place. I've had a look on ebay, but no one is selling the switch itself, only as part of the whole switch panel (i.e. the oval bit with the powerfold button, mirror control panel etc if the driver side one, or just the window switch if on other doors). Is it the same switch in all the panels? For example, could I buy a near side rear passenger switch panel, and use the switch from that to replace my broken one? I'm guessing the switch panels on the passenger side would be angled slightly differently, and therefore couldn't be used? |

For only about £15 buy the whole unit. It's five minutes to fit. Then you've got your old one as spares if it happens again.
