Not totally "Round Britain" - not enough members maybe?

More "volunteers" are required to make this happen - Can YOU help?

Default Round Britain

Looking at the proposed route, I was wondering how the "land locked" members, particularly those of us fortunate/unfortunate enough to live in the midlands might participate, and then it came to me, it has to start and finish somewhere so why not start it at say Cowley and end it at Longbridge? That way we are taking the the whole ten year Rover 75 life cycle from its birthplace to its happy hunting grounds. Might also be an opportunity for an impropmptu get together at Cofton park - opposite the longbridge works to formally end it? Perhaps the Chineese might be interested in some extra PR? Just a couple of ideas, any one interested?

Thanks Andrew, a similar idea had also crossed my mind.... so all under consideration. Of course, you could move nearer the coast :xmas-smiley-004:

I did once live in Weston Super Mare but I never saw the sea in 5 years, so I don't think that qualifies

I love the idea -- but -- heh heh.. I would much prefer to go when the weather is warmer, and daylight longer, after all, the views would be breathtaking in places, be such a shame to drive through them in the dark..

However, whatever you decide, I will join the convoy at some point. Either nr Rucorn or where the Birkenhead road joins the m56 ish, depends on where you cross the Mersey.. Or.. dependant on rotation, further North nr Blackpool turn off.
