I have that feeling as well. Had the heart attack, reached the point where the cardiac unit doesn't want to see me again. The diabetes, got that so well under control that diabetic squad don't want to see me again. Now contending with this liver bollox . . . . can't help wondering what they'll hit me with next

Maybe your good health Jon is in your genes and your from the school of the toughest

Last week, one of our friends from your generation and the school of tough, passed away suddenly in his sleep. He was in his nineties, a great man who lived a life of a farmer out in the bush, never complained of aches or pains and that is where he died at his ranch in Kenya. During the war, Flying Officer John Poulton flew Spitfires and Hurricanes fighting the Germans and the Japanese. Here is a photo I took of him showing his log book to Jessica on 6 April 2017....Rest easy Flying Officer sir!

Goodness me I'm only a youngster in comparison at 57 but have had my bad patches of health mostly in the last three years.

Still it could be worse.

These days I'm medically retired and life isn't too bad but could be better, waiting for the warmer weather.

I'm just down the road from you at times in Teignmouth.---Could it be that fresh sea air and ozone adds a few years and keeps one healthy ?--

Default The sea

My uncle who retired to live by the sea said everyone comes here to die, but when they get here they forget what they came for!
