Hi all, the light has just started coming on, my local garage did a Snap-on test and reported fuel presure low. Has any of our members had this problem?

Hi Les
Try unplugging the low pressure sensor connector, spray it with some electric contact cleaner, push it on & off a few times and see if the light goes out. When was the fuel filter last changed?

Smile 75(05) engine managment light always on

Hi, it only needs one reply when it proves correct. Thanks a million for your time and advise you were blob on, I think I will go around all plug and sockets as it seems common for many faults on these, otherwise lovely cars.

Hi Les.
Yes it is worth while cleaning the plugs such as the MAP sensor plug on the side of the manifold, the turbocharger boost temperature sensor inline of the intercooler pipe, camshaft sensor, fuel pressure sensor left hand end of the fuel rail, ( right if you are looking at it from front of the car you can only see it if the engine cover is removed, or as they say if it is not broken don't try and fix it
