I bought my workmate and a big plastic tool box that had a power drill in it along with a jig saw, third sheet orbital sander and an electric screwdriver. They were on offer in our local B+Q for the sum of £75 for the two or £50 each, it was a mid range workmate not the basic one. I was impressed enough that I bought the set. The ABS Roller tool chest was worth £35 on its own drill £20, jig saw £25, orbital sander £25, screw driver and bit set was selling at £28 on its own. The model of workmate was coming in at around £72 on its own at the time. I bought two tool chests and one kit the second tool chest full of 240v stuff was for work. Had great fun doing the risk assessment to allow the use of 240 volt tools. After all its amps that kill not volts got away with it dead cheep tools for use in the work shop. under the wheel arch while the suns out .
And the Dewalt won't touch the crank nut .. then tried a long bar and socket with 2 of us on it .. nope . But drew the line at a starter flick , just don't fancy that as its so tight but modded locking tool amd tensioner spanner , and refitted the liner to stop the rubbing while i'll was under there .

I'm not sure about the diesel - but it was so simple on the 1.8 using the starter - if someone else has done it this way with the diesel maybe they'll confirm if it's a Good idea or not I'm sure the starter will have more Guts than the Black&Dewalt - I cable tied my breaker bar securely to the front sub-frame to minimise any risk Paul. |

It is literally a flick of the starter. I just turned to start and straight off again just to break the joint before breaking anything else. It sounds awful but does work. Mike

its got a box . fits the charger and battery , but as not the right one for this fat driver, a bit of trimming with the dremel and a couple bits of sticky sponge and Voila .. C
