It's really strange why enthusiasts would do that. Hence I never take any of my cars to shows, clip board Charlie's with over inflated opinions. Give the seller a rest gents

My 75 is apart from the WinCe radio which is being changed back to the HighLine unit next week. When I changed it I left all the boxes in the boot so I’ve only to fit the head unit back in and it’s back to original spec apart from the CD player which was missing when I bought the car. So not too bad for a car manufactured in February 2001

Interestingly , as we are talking about Japanese spec , when I first swapped out the Harmony I replaced it with a Japanese spec Symphony which I picked up very cheap . The frequency range was different but it picked up all I wanted ! Long since replaced with a British Symphony but the Jap one is still in a cupboard in the garage , so if the car for sale has the wrong radio for Jap spec then I can help

I understand that the Jap remote locking works on a different frequency from uk versions.
It can be a pain to get replacement keys. You should make sure you have a full set of keys with the car. |

I believe it's 315mhz. I didn't have any trouble finding new remotes for my Jap MGF at a reasonable price.

If you need a CD player Les (I assume the multidisk part that sits in the glove box) I have one you can have from my scrapper, now sadly departed! (and am only 15mins away, once we're allowed out)

That would be brilliant Gary thank you. Let me know how much you want for it. If you’re passing Elgin for shopping I’m still working although on holiday next week. Thanks again

Japanese-Spec Dorchester Red 2.5 V6
Pleased to report, this car is now bought and back in my ownership,
after a 4 year gap, when it has been well cared for. Yippee. |
