If I remember correctly, we never "paid the piper" that day - he wandered off in the direction of a coach muttering something about 'tight g---s!'

Morning all.
We have fog, but the shine is trying to find a way through.

I hope Steve is okay and he was not affected by the virus. We all like Steve and I for one miss his banter and wit. He is a gentleman and he deserves the best. Have you decided what to do with your aunt's house? We did try and sell the property we have in Margate, but had to take it off the market. Covid came and the house did not move. Since an easing of restrictions, we put it out for rental and a new tenant moved in last week. We were relieved, as we did not like the property being empty and losing money. Its very kind of you to see your mum and offer to take her up to see the headstone. |

Morning Phil and the rest of the crew (thought of reprobates but felt that a tad strong) Pesky weather today has cancelled both Car Boot Sales that I tend to attend. Darn it!!! Still got my fix yesterday at Shepperton, had to wear a mask, kept steaming my glasses up so dropped it below tip of my nose. Slim pickings!
Just got about 8 books to read to replenish those read in lock down. Did 22 miles on Mountain bike with slicks Friday morning then a short mile walk. Still 135K fat bar steward. Resulted in lazy afternoon. Planenut came over yesterday to adjust handbrake. He is a good egg. Think I was turning the o/s adjuster up on the gear wheel instead of down. DOH!! Think it is OK now. Got an MOT due 25th arranged by our friendly mechanic. |

Good morning everyone from sunny Saltash.
Had rain overnight but this morning everything smells so fresh. Managed to get both cars washed yesterday. Today will be spent in the garden.
