Vacuumed the interior, polished the glass inside, then washed the grime from the outside.

The latter there was lots of, as I've spent two days cleaning and derusting the rear inner wheelarches after removing the liners.

Who on earth thought the idea of running pipes and cables through a metal duct inside the wheelarch was a good one, needs their head read.......

Yuk, is all I can say.

Shout out to Trikey for changing my suspension leg and hub this morning especially as the old fought tooth and nail not to come out and it was more than a little warm.

Cheers Andy it's solved all the issues

Default Serviced molly

Well Molly the connie has had a fresh glob of oil, new filters all round (including pcv) and fuel filter. Flushed out washer bottle and line, removed washers and cleaned out as one was not working properly.

Primed diesel pump and POP fuel inlet shot of off the fuel filter and showered the engine bay. Seems ok now.

So whole engine bay got a nice wash too

I'm sure there is a lot more going on under my bonnet than that, but I like the shiny paintwork !

It seems a little extreme simply to fit a new brake pipe though.

Chris
The paintwork and the other bits are being done while the replacement engine is being fettled before fitting.

Our local MG Rover garage did lots of bad things to the original engine hence why it was removed.

3 piece genuine clutch kit from rimmer bros £147 delivered
Now got a nice light Pedal

Fitted refurbished rear subframe and both upper arms, saw more things which require attention, both heat shields to re attatch to body and some derusting of some body parts, then put on new springs, found O/S one burst at bottom coil, how come I've replaced at least six springs on my bunch of 75's but never had one break on any one of my four R8'sDesigners of springs go back to the future.
