Default Video module compatibility

Hi, is the video module from a BMW comparable with our cars? Or does it have some BMW tailored ‘strangeness’ ? Cheers, Graham.

They are a straight swap Graham but you need the video module to match your head unit, widescreen or 4:3. Digital tv units need a widescreen head unit.

Thanks for that, I have the standard 4:3 unit but have managed to find an ex e43 BMW 4:3 video module which is a known good unit and not expensive.
