BRAND NEW MG ZT for sale (n.o.s) - not mine!
https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/a...a-ac8400d70bc8
Bored to death by the usual early evening TV I was wasting time on't net and found this - an MG ZT 1.8turbo with 6 (yep SIX) recorded miles on the clock. Yours for an estimated £12-£15k. Crazy.........or a £46,000 mile, Rover dealership-owned, ZT260 for an estimated £8-10k in the same auction Last edited by Scimdaz; 8th December 2020 at 19:17.. |

I believe any NOS unregistered cars are now only donor cars for parts or museum pieces as they cannot be road registered anymore.

Strictly speaking it is 2nd hand as it was delivered to its' first owner. A bit like buying a pre-registered car off a dealer that was looking to meet year-end targets I guess. It's life in a cocoon might make it a better buy than a "new" car that has sat in the salty air of Grimsby docks for 6 months. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for and it is even more interesting to try an work out why someone should buy a mainsteam new car and then lock it away unused.

it sold last year if I recall for about £12k at its last auction. There are a few posts about it, and has been mentioned in Practical Classics too.
EDIT: 4 years ago! Though mileage has increased lol https://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/cla...s-is-for-sale/ Further reading HERE

Will it need a new cambelt, or am I being naughty for asking?
