Georgie has been to see the Vet,all has healed up fine, and apart from her arthritis she is a healthy old girl.

We had roast chicken yesterday so tonight's tea is chicken stir fry and I stripped rest of chicken of the bones n having curry Tuesday- that's 3 meals out of one chicken no waste in this house even Meg got some well chicken skin

You cant beat three meals out of one chicken Debs I used up the last of the turkey meat I stripped from the Christmas turkey the other day for soup out of the freezer.

Blimey! it's only 6:20pm & I've already opened a bottle of Henry's Bleddy stressed out with this electricity board malarkey, Thankfully we got through late this afternoon to the works dept that is doing the job & they will be here on Thursday to start the job now they have the correct Job number/address but there's still a fly in the ointment the electricity supply on the middle house of the shared loop is going to be a problem but they didn't elaborate!!! hence the early swilly
I think I'll go away for a while & come back next week

Funny you should mention not wasting food

I made an omelette with the left over bacon and mushrooms from yesterdays breakfast, plus the spare sausage, black pud, beans and toms that were left
