The social distancing seems to have slipped a lot of peoples thinking and the younger people didnt seem to observe it much. And yes it will be with us for ever, its a disease like many that we have and deal with. Like many of his generation my grandfather lived with Malaria contracted in Salonika in the Army in 1916, it never left him just kept coming back. Chris.S.

The customer and garage owner removing their masks and face to face, I wonder what that was all about, was it bravado or an act of something else. Malaria is a big killer in Kenya. I have known people to die within 24 hours of starting the symptoms because of misdiagnosis or failure to get the treatment in time and your right about it returning. I always keep the malaria treatment pack in case I get it. Last edited by Gate Keeper; 25th April 2021 at 00:17.. Reason: Spelling |

I heard on the World Service this morning how the UK sent ventilators, medical supplies and machines to make Oxygen from air, to India. Well done to the UK for being compassionate in helping India, its people, the dying, the sick and the needy.

India Deaths
Just a quick one.
Sky News is reporting that 300+ deaths a day. That's actually not that bad, looking at past stats, over 26,700 deaths a day in India in 2019, they're actually doing pretty good. They are also using pictures from last year's LG plant gas accident to depict people dying in the street. Let the fear mongering carry on. The main stream media are making a mint out of us, and showing us all up for the gullible fools we are. |

Research
Research carried out.
India deaths after catching covid 1.1% sounds pretty bad when you put it that way until you factor it against the total population of 1.4 billion it then becomes 0.01% which is roughly in line with the rest of the world. |

Thanks for that – illuminating to say the least. Haven’t posted on this for a while – no point in being a wet blanket. Or is there? From the start I smelt a very large rat. It’s truly amazing, and disappointing, that some elevated sections of humanity continue to think they are the prime movers and shakers of the planet. When compared with the natural sciences that seem to defy our very clever attempts to control everything, our puny efforts are laughable. Then we discover all is not what it seems. It started to unravel some time ago, the daily figures are mightily unconvincing*. Instillation of a fear factor, essential tool for mass panic. Maybe the masks are very large and cover the eyes and ears. Anyone ever read ‘The Midwich Cuckoos’? *Daily fatalities now and for some time have included 'deaths from any cause within 28 days of...'. It's not so very long ago that that kind of wild approximation would just not be tolerated.
